I will be working on 2 CD's for 2012.
The 1st will be my usual gospel blues offering, consisting mainly of originals but a few of my favorite covers from Rev. Gary Davis, Blind Willie Johnson and Rev. Edward W. Clayborn will be added as well.
The 2nd, with some help from the legendary Stefan Grossman, will be my first ALL blues CD since 2000, featuring a wide variety of acoustic blues from the 1920's-1930's that I have taught in my instructional lessons through Stefan Grossman's Guitar Workshop.

It is an enormous honor to have been asked to join the Stefan Grossman's Guitar Workshop team as an instructor.
I have learned so much from Stefan Grossman and the other wonderful teachers who have given their time and talents so that we can play the music we love more accurately.
It has been my life's passion to carry on the "country blues/gospel" of the 1920's-1960's and to now do so through instructional lessons is the greatest fulfillment of that passion. |
