Real bottleneck slides hand-crafted in So. California from the highest quality European wine bottles. The perfect length, texture and weight provide the very best tone and excellent vibrato.
Stefan Grossman says, "Finally a REAL bottleneck. I really enjoy using it and highly recommend it."
Color may vary depending on bottle. Green and Brown bottles are most commonly used.
Long = 2 11/16", 3/4" inner diameter $12.00 + s/h
Medium = 2 7/16", 3/4" inner diameter $12.00 + s/h
Hand-crafted from Italian Pinot Grigio wine bottles, these bottlenecks are a tad lighter in weight than the green/brown slides but still has their same great thickness favored by many players worldwide.
At first glance this bottleneck appears to be clear in color, but as you change the angle you'll see how it garnered it's Pale Blue name.
Two lengths will be cut, the same as my Signature Series, Long = 2 11/16" and Medium = 2 7/6" with a 3/4" inner diameter
I'm very pleased to be the sole vendor of this limited edition bottleneck slide. Single cut from a Gordon's Gin bottle, the bottle of choice for McDowell, makes this a very unique and specialized slide that will work wonders for single, double and 3 string slides.
Sly Devil Glass Bottlenecks produced a handful of these slides in conjunction with my upcoming lesson on "The Guitar of Fred McDowell" available through Stefan Grossman's Guitar Workshop in 2012.
Limited edition due to limited supply. Only 1left in stock!!
